Latest Update
April 30th, 2020
We regret to inform the public that in accordance with the measures implemented by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and with the health and safety of all of our volunteers, community partners, and attendees in mind, the 2020 Herring Neck Dory Festival is cancelled.

While this is a decision that we did not want to arrive at, we are confident that this is the right one. COVID-19 spreads quickly, and we must all do our part to lower the risks. Although we will not be able to meet at in-person large gatherings, the Dory Festival Committee continues to plan for ways we can connect with you virtually. Please continue to check our social media accounts and our website for these updates.

We would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and know that we have already started planning so that we can make next years festival the best one yet.
Stay safe everyone, and see you July 15th - 18th, 2021.

Latest Update
April 1st, 2020
We understand that there is a lot of uncertainty in the air these days, but rest assured that we are still working hard, communicating with all of our community partners, and receiving guidance from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador to prepare ourselves for this upcoming summer.

The best update we can provide at this time is that we are preparing for every possible scenario. The COVID-19 situation evolves daily, and the committee will be monitoring these updates closely to help us make informed decisions. The health and safety of all of our members, community partners, volunteers, and attendees continue to be our top priority.
As of right now, the Dory Festival is still scheduled to go ahead from July 16th-19th, 2020. We will continue preparing ourselves for all possible scenarios, and will provide updates as they become available.
Stay safe everyone. We will get through this together.
